The State of Texas, via Attorney General Ken Paxton ruled on March 27, 2020 that gun stores and gun ranges are considered “Essential Services”. Provision 1 & 2 cover the use and sales of firearms and related items, while provision 3 recognizes the use of such items at a Range. Please keep in mind though, if you choose to attend the range, you DO need to follow the previously issued recommendation for social distancing, hygeine with washing hands and covering coughs or sneezes, and other standard controls for prevention of the spread of the CCP Virus.
If you are feeling ill, seek medical attention. If you feel hale and hearty and wish to use the range, you may do so, while taking prudent caution. Stay safe and keep your powder dry.
