Ladies & Gentlemen, one of our servicemen is being laid to rest shortly, and has no living relatives. An Unaccompanied Veteran should not be laid to rest alone. If you are at all able, please attend his burial and remember his name so that he will live on in our memories.
Please honor this American veteran as he is laid to rest at the Rio Grande Valley Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Mission on Tuesday, 12 March at 2pm. He has no family, so let us unite as Americans to be his family on this day.
We just completed our first ever celebration of Texas Independence Day at the Club. Special thanks to Gun Owners of America for co-sponsoring this event with us. Extra special thanks goes out to our wonderful members who volunteered their time and firearms for use by the shooters, whom without their help, this event would have been much the poorer. Thanks you all for donating your time, your firearms for use, and any ammunition you might have supplied. We had a great time out, and I saw more than one eager smile on the face of shooters!
